Job Requirements
- high school diploma or GED
- valid driver’s license for the assigned vehicle
- ability to lift and maneuver packages of 50 lbs or more with equipment or assistance
- ability to maintain alertness and work safely
- must meet federal motor carrier safety regulations including medical examination
- age at least 21 years
- proficiency in English language
- neat appearance and good communication skills
Job Qualifications

- must be licensed for the type of vehicle assigned
- ability to lift 50 lbs or more with assistance if necessary
- good human relations and verbal communication skills
- ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs and communicate with traffic officials
- must meet federal motor carrier safety qualifications outlined in section 391 of FMCSA
- must be at least 21 years of age
Job Duties
- drive and operate company vehicles to deliver and pick up packages
- check shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service
- provide courteous and efficient customer service
- perform manual handling of packages using appropriate equipment or assistance
- comply with federal motor carrier safety regulations and undergo required medical examinations
- maintain neat appearance and good verbal communication skills
- work in a safe, alert, and professional manner
