Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver license for assigned vehicle
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to safely maneuver packages above 50 lbs with appropriate equipment or assistance
- Good verbal communication skills
- Neat appearance
- Ability to read and understand English
- Must meet FMCSA section 391 qualifications
- Medical exam required
- At least 21 years old
- Ability to work safely and remain alert
- Non-covered safety-sensitive position
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be licensed for type of vehicle assigned
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and maneuver heavier packages with assistance
- Good verbal communication skills
- Ability to read and understand English for traffic signs and communication
- Must meet FMCSA qualifications including medical exam
- At least 21 years of age
Job Duties
- Drive and operate company vehicles to deliver and pick up packages
- Check shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service
- Provide courteous and efficient customer service
- Maneuver packages safely using appropriate equipment or assistance
- Maintain a neat appearance and demonstrate good human relations
- Comply with FMCSA safety regulations and complete required medical exams
- Perform other duties as assigned
