Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license for assigned vehicle
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and maneuver heavier packages with assistance
- Good verbal communication skills
- Neat appearance
- Must meet FMCSA safety qualifications including medical exam
- Ability to work safely and remain alert
- At least 21 years old
- Proficient in English to understand traffic and official instructions
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid license for the type of vehicle assigned
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and handle heavier packages with assistance
- Good verbal communication and human relations skills
- Ability to read and speak English to understand traffic signs and communicate with officials
- Must meet qualifications of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations section 391
- Must pass medical exam per FMCSA or FAA regulations
- Age 21 or older
Job Duties
- Operate company vehicles for delivery and pick-up of packages
- Check shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service
- Provide customer service related to deliveries and pickups
- Lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs and maneuver heavier packages using equipment or assistance
- Adhere to safety regulations including FMCSA requirements
- Maintain neat appearance and good communication with customers
- Perform other duties as assigned
