Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license for assigned vehicle
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Pass medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations
- At least 21 years of age
- Ability to maintain alertness and safe driving practices
- Proficient in English for communication and traffic sign comprehension
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid license for the type of vehicle assigned
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs and maneuver heavier packages with equipment or assistance
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently for traffic and safety communication
- Meets federal motor carrier safety standards as per section 391
- Must be at least 21 years old
Job Duties
- Operates company vehicles to deliver and pick up packages
- Checks shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service
- Provides courteous and efficient customer service
- Adheres to federal motor carrier safety regulations
- Performs medical requirements as per FMCSA or FAA regulations
- Maintains neat appearance and professional conduct
- Works in a constant state of alertness and safety
