Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have a high school diploma or GED
- Valid license for the type of vehicle assigned
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and maneuver heavier packages with assistance
- Must meet FMCSA qualifications and medical exam requirements
- Ability to work in a safe and alert manner
- Must be able to read and communicate in English sufficiently
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license for assigned vehicle type
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds
- Strong verbal communication and human relations skills
- Knowledge of safety standards and FMCSA regulations
- Ability to work safely and attentively
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently for traffic compliance
Job Duties
- Operate company vehicles to deliver and pick up packages
- Check shipments for conformance to FedEx service features
- Provide courteous customer service during deliveries and pick-ups
- Adhere to safety and regulatory requirements including FMCSA guidelines
- Perform medical exams as required and maintain safety standards
- Lift and maneuver packages using proper equipment or assistance
- Perform additional duties as assigned
