Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid commercial driver’s license
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to use appropriate equipment or assistance to handle packages over 50 lbs
- Meet federal motor carrier safety regulations including section 391
- Pass medical exam according to FMCSA or FAA requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Ability to speak and read English adequately for traffic and safety compliance
- Maintain constant alertness and safety-minded approach
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license for the assigned vehicle type
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and maneuver heavier packages with assistance
- Excellent human relations and verbal communication skills
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to comply with traffic and safety requirements
- Meet qualifications as per section 391 of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
- Ability to work alertly and safely under varied conditions
- Must be at least 21 years old
Job Duties
- Drive and operate company vehicles safely and efficiently
- Provide courteous and professional customer service during deliveries and pick-ups
- Check shipments for conformance to FedEx service features
- Perform package handling including lifting and maneuvering packages up to and above 50 lbs with assistance
- Comply with all federal, state, and local transportation safety regulations
- Maintain neat appearance and represent FedEx positively
- Complete other duties as assigned by management
