Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid license for the type of vehicle assigned
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to maneuver packages weighing more than 50 lbs with assistance
- Good human relations and verbal communication skills
- Must meet FMCSA or FAA medical exam requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs and communicate with traffic officials
- Must maintain safe driving practices
- Able to maintain neat appearance
- Willingness to work Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Licensed for the type of vehicle assigned
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Proficient in English to understand traffic signs and communicate with traffic officials
- Pass medical exam as required by FMCSA or FAA regulations
- Knowledge of and compliance with section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
Job Duties
- Operate company vehicles safely and efficiently
- Provide courteous and effective delivery and pick-up of packages
- Check shipments to ensure they conform to FedEx service standards
- Deliver related customer service functions
- Perform other assigned duties
- Maintain neat appearance and demonstrate good human relations
- Adhere to all Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and safety policies
