Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be licensed for the type of vehicle assigned
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Ability to lift 50 pounds manually
- Ability to maneuver packages above 50 pounds with assistance or equipment
- Must meet qualifications under FMCSA section 391
- Medical exam required in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently
- Ability to work alertly and safely
Job Qualifications

- Valid driver’s license for assigned vehicle type
- Knowledge of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations section 391
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs and communicate with officials
- Good human relations and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work alertly and safely
- Neat appearance and professionalism
Job Duties
- Provides courteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of packages
- Checks shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service
- Provides related customer service functions
- Operates company vehicles safely in compliance with federal regulations
- Maintains neat appearance and professionalism during customer interactions
- Utilizes appropriate equipment to handle heavy packages
- Performs other duties as assigned
