Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license for assigned vehicle
- Ability to lift 50 lbs or more with assistance
- Ability to speak and read English
- Must meet FMCSA regulations including medical exam
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Clean driving record
- Ability to work in a safe and alert manner
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Must hold a valid license for the vehicle type assigned
- Ability to lift and maneuver packages weighing up to or above 50 lbs with assistance
- Strong human relations and verbal communication skills
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs and communicate with officials
- Must meet federal motor carrier safety regulations and medical examination requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old
Job Duties
- Operate company vehicles to deliver and pick up packages
- Check shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service
- Provide courteous and efficient customer service during deliveries
- Perform safety checks and comply with federal motor carrier safety regulations
- Lift and maneuver packages safely using appropriate equipment or assistance
- Maintain neat appearance and professional communication
- Perform other duties as assigned
