Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license appropriate for assigned vehicle
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to maneuver packages weighing more than 50 pounds with equipment or assistance
- Meet federal motor carrier safety regulations section 391 qualifications
- Pass medical exam as required by FMCSA or FAA
- At least 21 years old
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Capability to work safely and remain alert
- Neat personal appearance
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Must hold a valid license for the type of vehicle assigned
- Ability to lift and maneuver packages up to and above 50 pounds with assistance
- Good human relations and communication skills
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs and communicate with officials
- Meets qualifications of section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
- Medical exam as required by FMCSA or FAA regulations
- At least 21 years of age
Job Duties
- Operate company vehicles to deliver and pick up packages courteously and efficiently
- Check shipments for compliance with FedEx features of service
- Provide customer service related to deliveries and pickups
- Adhere to all safety regulations including FMCSA and FAA requirements
- Maintain neat appearance and professional interaction with customers
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Follow company policies and procedures for transportation and delivery
