Job Requirements
- Be at least 21 years old
- Hold a valid license for the assigned vehicle
- Possess a high school diploma or GED
- Meet Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations including medical requirements
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and maneuver heavier packages safely
- Maintain alertness and safe driving practices
- Have a neat appearance
- Pass background and security screenings as required
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license for the assigned vehicle type
- Ability to pass Department of Transportation medical examination
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Good human relations and customer service skills
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently for traffic and safety communications
- Clean driving history
- Minimum age of 21 years
Job Duties
- Drive and operate company vehicles to deliver and pick up packages
- Check shipments for compliance with FedEx service standards
- Provide courteous customer service during deliveries and pick-ups
- Perform safety inspections and comply with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
- Lift and maneuver packages up to and exceeding 50 lbs with assistance or equipment
- Maintain neat appearance and professional conduct
- Perform additional duties as assigned
