Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid license for assigned vehicle type
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to maneuver heavier packages with equipment or assistance
- Good communication skills
- Neat appearance
- Compliance with Federal Motor Carrier safety regulations
- Medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA guidelines
- Age 21 or older
- Ability to read and speak English to understand and follow traffic laws
- Ability to work alertly and safely
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Licensed for the type of vehicle assigned
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs
- Ability to maneuver packages above 50 lbs with assistance or equipment
- Good human relations and verbal communication skills
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs and communicate with officials
- Must meet qualifications outlined in section 391 of Federal Motor Carrier safety regulations
- Medical clearance per FMCSA or FAA regulations
- Must be at least 21 years of age
Job Duties
- Operate company vehicles to deliver and pick up packages efficiently and courteously
- Check shipments for compliance with FedEx features of service
- Provide customer service functions during deliveries
- Perform loading and unloading of packages safely
- Maintain neat and professional appearance while interacting with customers
- Follow federal and company safety regulations
- Complete other duties as assigned
