Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be licensed for the assigned type of vehicle
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to maneuver packages heavier than 50 lbs with equipment or assistance
- Good human relations and verbal communication skills
- Must meet qualifications as outlined in section 391 of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
- Medical exam required per FMCSA or FAA regulations
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs and communicate with traffic officials
- Ability to maintain alertness and work safely
- Neat appearance required
- Non-covered safety-sensitive position
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Must hold a valid license for the type of vehicle assigned
- Ability to lift and maneuver packages weighing up to and above 50 lbs with proper equipment or assistance
- Strong verbal communication and customer service skills
- Ability to read and understand English well enough to comply with traffic laws and communicate with officials
- Must meet Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations qualifications
- Ability to work with constant alertness and in a safe manner
- Must be at least 21 years of age
Job Duties
- Drive and operate company vehicles for package delivery and pick-up
- Check shipments for compliance with FedEx service standards
- Provide courteous and professional customer service during deliveries and pick-ups
- Load and unload packages using appropriate equipment and assistance
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies
- Maintain neat appearance and communication skills for customer interaction
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
