Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old
- pass medical exam under FMCSA or FAA regulations
- meet qualifications in section 391 of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
- valid driver’s license for assigned vehicle
- ability to lift 50 lbs or more with proper equipment and assistance
- good human relations skills
- neat appearance
- non-covered safety-sensitive position
- ability to work Monday to Saturday 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- valid driver's license for assigned vehicle type
- ability to lift at least 50 lbs
- good verbal communication skills
- knowledge of traffic and safety regulations
- ability to work alertly and safely
- ability to read and speak English proficiently
Job Duties
- Operate company vehicles safely and efficiently
- provide courteous and professional customer service
- perform delivery and pick-up of packages
- check shipments for compliance with FedEx service standards
- lift and maneuver packages up to and above 50 lbs with assistance
- comply with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
- maintain neat appearance and professional conduct
