Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license for the assigned vehicle
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to maneuver heavier packages with appropriate assistance
- Must meet FMCSA safety standards and pass medical exam
- Good communication skills in English
- Neat appearance
- Ability to work alertly and safely throughout shifts
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license for the type of vehicle assigned
- Ability to lift and maneuver heavy packages with appropriate assistance
- Good human relations and verbal communication skills
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently for communication and traffic safety
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Meet the qualifications outlined in section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier safety regulations
- Pass required medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations
Job Duties
- Operate company vehicles to deliver and pick up packages
- Check shipments for conformance to FedEx service standards
- Provide courteous and efficient customer service during deliveries and pick-ups
- Adhere to all Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and company policies
- Lift packages up to 50 lbs and maneuver heavier packages with assistance or equipment
- Maintain a neat appearance and professional demeanor
- Complete all required paperwork and report delivery issues as necessary
