Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license for assigned vehicle
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to maneuver heavy packages with assistance or equipment
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Meet federal motor carrier safety regulations and medical exam requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Ability to read and understand English traffic signs and communicate with officials
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Must hold a valid driver's license for the type of vehicle assigned
- Good human relations and verbal communication skills
- Ability to lift and maneuver packages up to 50 lbs and beyond with assistance or equipment
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs and communicate with traffic officials
- Must meet the qualifications outlined in section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
- Must be at least 21 years old
Job Duties
- Drive and operate company vehicles in a safe and efficient manner
- Provide courteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of packages
- Check shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service
- Provide related customer service functions
- Perform loading and unloading of packages
- Maintain neat appearance
- Comply with federal motor carrier safety regulations including medical examinations
