Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid license for type of vehicle assigned
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to maneuver heavy packages with equipment or help
- Good human relations and verbal communication skills
- Neat personal appearance
- Meet qualifications of Federal Motor Carrier safety regulations section 391
- Pass medical exam according to FMCSA or FAA regulations
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Ability to read and speak English to understand traffic signs and communicate with officials
- Work in a constant state of alertness and safety
- Non-covered safety-sensitive position
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license for assigned vehicle type
- Ability to lift and maneuver packages weighing up to and over 50 lbs with equipment or assistance
- Good interpersonal and verbal communication skills
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently for traffic signs and official directions
- Must meet physical and medical standards as per FMCSA regulations
- Neat appearance and professionalism in customer interactions
Job Duties
- Drive and operate company vehicles to deliver and pick up packages
- Check shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service
- Provide related customer service functions
- Perform loading and unloading of packages with appropriate equipment and assistance
- Maintain neat personal appearance and communicate effectively with customers
- Comply with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations including passing medical exams
- Work assigned shifts from Monday through Saturday according to scheduling requirements
