Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license for assigned vehicle type
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to maneuver heavier packages with assistance and equipment
- Pass a medical exam as required by FMCSA or FAA regulations
- Meet qualifications as per section 391 of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
- Ability to read and speak English to understand traffic signs and communicate with officials
- Maintain a neat appearance
- Work part-time Monday to Friday 1430-2030
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license for assigned vehicle type
- Ability to lift 50 lbs independently
- Good verbal communication skills
- Ability to read and speak English proficiently
- Ability to maintain alertness and operate safely
- Experience in driving commercial vehicles preferred
- Knowledge of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
Job Duties
- Drive and operate company vehicles for delivery and pick-up of packages
- Check shipments for compliance with FedEx service features
- Provide courteous and efficient customer service
- Maintain a neat and professional appearance
- Follow Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and company safety policies
- Perform physical handling of packages up to 50 lbs and maneuver heavier loads with assistance
- Complete required paperwork and report any incidents or delays
