Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license for assigned vehicle
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to maneuver packages with assistance
- Must meet federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations section 391
- Medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Ability to read and speak English
- Neat appearance
- Ability to work safely in constant alertness
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid license for the type of vehicle assigned
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and maneuver heavier packages with assistance
- Good human relations and verbal communication skills
- Ability to speak and read English sufficiently to understand traffic signs and communicate
- Must meet federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations section 391 qualifications
- Ability to work safely and maintain alertness
- Must be at least 21 years of age
Job Duties
- Drive and operate company vehicles to deliver and pick up packages
- Check shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service
- Provide courteous and efficient customer service during deliveries
- Lift and maneuver packages, including those over 50 lbs, using appropriate equipment or assistance
- Adhere to Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and complete required medical examinations
- Communicate effectively with traffic officials and customers
- Perform other duties as assigned
