Job Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Licensed for the type of vehicle assigned
Ability to lift 50 lbs
Ability to maneuver packages with appropriate equipment or assistance
Good communication skills
Neat appearance
Meet FMCSA safety qualifications including medical exam
Minimum age of 21 years
English proficiency to understand and communicate traffic-related information

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or GED
Valid license for the type of vehicle assigned
Ability to lift 50 lbs and maneuver heavier packages with assistance
Good human relations and verbal communication skills
Ability to read and speak English for understanding traffic signs and communicating with safety officials
Must meet FMCSA qualifications including medical exam
Must be at least 21 years of age

Job Duties

Operate company vehicles safely and efficiently to deliver and pick up packages
Check shipments for conformance to FedEx service features and handle related customer service functions
Lift and maneuver packages up to and above 50 lbs with appropriate equipment or assistance
Communicate courteously with customers and maintain a neat appearance
Comply with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration regulations and company policies
Complete medical exam and maintain alertness for safe driving
Perform other duties as assigned
