Job Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Valid license for type of vehicle assigned
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Ability to maneuver packages over 50 pounds with assistance
Good human relations and verbal communication skills
Neat appearance due to customer contact
Meet qualifications as per section 391 of Federal Motor Carrier safety regulations
Medical exam required per FMCSA or FAA regulations
Ability to work safely and stay alert
Minimum age of 21
Ability to read and speak English to understand traffic signs and communicate with officials

Job Qualifications

Valid driver’s license for assigned vehicle type
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Good verbal communication skills
Able to maintain a neat appearance
Understand and comply with Federal Motor Carrier safety regulations
Ability to read and speak English proficiently
Must be at least 21 years old

Job Duties

Operate company vehicles to deliver and pick up packages efficiently and courteously
Check shipments for compliance with FedEx features of service
Provide friendly and professional customer service during deliveries and pick-ups
Adhere to all traffic laws and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
Perform required vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues
Maintain neat appearance and positive interaction with customers
Assist with other duties as assigned
