Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license for assigned vehicle
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to maneuver packages over 50 pounds with equipment or assistance
- Good human relations skills
- Neat appearance
- Meet federal motor carrier safety regulations (section 391)
- Pass medical exam as per FMCSA or FAA
- Non-covered safety-sensitive position
- Ability to work with constant alertness
- Minimum age of 21 years
- Proficiency in reading and speaking English for traffic and safety communication
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license for the assigned vehicle type
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and maneuver heavier packages with assistance
- Good verbal communication skills
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signals and communicate with officials
- Meet health standards in accordance with FMCSA or FAA medical exam requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Ability to work attentively and safely in a regulated environment
Job Duties
- Drive and operate company vehicles safely and efficiently
- Provide courteous and timely delivery and pick-up of packages
- Check shipments for accuracy and conformity to FedEx service standards
- Maintain communication with customers and provide customer service functions
- Adhere to all safety requirements including federal motor carrier regulations
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Ensure neat personal appearance and professional conduct during customer interactions
