Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Licensed for type of vehicle assigned
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to maneuver packages above 50 lbs with assistance
- Good human relations and verbal communication skills
- Neat appearance
- Meet qualifications in Section 391 of Federal Motor Carrier safety regulations
- Medical exam as per FMCSA or FAA
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Ability to read and speak English to understand traffic signs and communicate with safety officials
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver license for assigned vehicle type
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and maneuver heavier packages with assistance
- Good verbal communication and human relations skills
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs and communicate with officials
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Compliance with FMCSA Section 391 qualification standards
Job Duties
- Drive and operate company vehicles to deliver and pick up packages
- Check shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service
- Provide courteous and efficient customer service during deliveries
- Perform physical handling of packages, ensuring safety and efficiency
- Maintain a neat appearance and professional demeanor
- Adhere strictly to Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
- Complete additional duties as assigned to support operations
