Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Commercial driver’s license for assigned vehicle
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to maneuver packages over 50 lbs with assistance or equipment
- Good human relations skills
- Must comply with Federal Motor Carrier safety regulations section 391
- Must pass medical exam as per FMCSA or FAA regulations
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Ability to read and communicate in English
- Ability to maintain alertness and safety while operating vehicle
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be licensed for the type of vehicle assigned
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and maneuver heavier packages with equipment or assistance
- Good human relations and verbal communication skills
- Must meet Federal Motor Carrier safety regulations outlined in section 391
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs and communicate with officials
- Must be at least 21 years of age
Job Duties
- Drive and operate company vehicles to perform package delivery and pick-up
- Provide courteous and efficient customer service during deliveries
- Check shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service
- Perform related customer service functions
- Adhere to Federal Motor Carrier safety regulations
- Maintain a neat and professional appearance
- Operate in a safe manner with constant alertness
