Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Hold a valid driver’s license for the assigned vehicle
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and maneuver heavier packages with help
- Pass medical examination as required by FMCSA or FAA
- Meet Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations including section 391
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs and communicate with officials
- Willingness to work part-time morning shifts from 6:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Monday through Saturday
- Must comply with TSA Security Threat Assessment screening
- Non-covered safety-sensitive position
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle assigned
- Ability to lift and maneuver packages weighing up to 50 lbs or more with assistance
- Good verbal communication and customer service skills
- Knowledge of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
- Ability to work early morning hours
- Neat appearance and professional demeanor
Job Duties
- Drive and operate company vehicles to deliver and pick up packages
- Check shipments for accuracy and conformity to FedEx service standards
- Provide courteous and efficient customer service during deliveries
- Maneuver packages using appropriate equipment or assistance for heavy items
- Ensure compliance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and TSA security requirements
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance
- Adhere to scheduled working hours and safety protocols
