Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Licensed for the type of vehicle assigned
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to maneuver packages over 50 lbs with appropriate equipment or help
- Meet FMCSA qualifications outlined in section 391
- Medical exam required as per FMCSA or FAA regulations
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Proficiency in English to understand traffic signs and official directions
- Ability to maintain alertness and work safely
- Neat appearance
- Must comply with safety-sensitive position rules
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license for assigned vehicle type
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and maneuver heavier packages with assistance
- Good human relations and verbal communication skills
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs and communicate with safety officials
- Ability to work safely in a state of constant alertness
- Must be at least 21 years old
Job Duties
- Drive and operate company vehicles safely and efficiently
- Provide courteous and prompt delivery and pick-up of packages
- Check shipments for compliance with FedEx features of service
- Perform customer service functions related to deliveries
- Maintain neat personal appearance when making customer contact
- Adhere to Federal Motor Carrier Safety regulations and company policies
- Perform other duties as assigned
