Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid license for type of vehicle assigned
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to maneuver packages over 50 lbs with assistance or equipment
- Meet qualifications in section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
- Ability to work alertly and safely
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Ability to read and speak English
- Ability to pass medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid license for the type of vehicle assigned
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Good human relations and verbal communication skills
- Must meet qualifications as outlined in section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs and communicate with traffic safety officials
- For Hire Endorsement is required
Job Duties
- Provide courteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of packages
- Check shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service
- Provide related customer service functions
- Operate company vehicles safely following FMCSA regulations
- Lift and maneuver packages up to and above 50 pounds with assistance or equipment
- Maintain neat appearance and professional demeanor during all customer contacts
- Perform other duties as assigned
