Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Licensed for the type of vehicle assigned
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to maneuver packages over 50 lbs with assistance or equipment
- Good human relations and communication skills
- Neat appearance as customer contact is required
- Meet FMCSA Section 391 qualifications
- Medical exam as per FMCSA or FAA requirements
- Non-covered safety-sensitive position
- Minimum age 21
- Ability to read and speak English
- Ability to work in a safe and alert manner
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license for the type of vehicle assigned
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs and maneuver heavier packages with assistance
- Good verbal communication skills
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs and communicate with officials
- Meeting Section 391 FMCSA qualifications
- Ability to work safely and remain alert
- Minimum age of 21 years
- Ability to maintain neat appearance and professionalism
Job Duties
- Operate company vehicles to deliver and pick up packages
- Provide courteous and efficient customer service during deliveries and pick-ups
- Check shipments for compliance with FedEx features of service
- Perform vehicle inspections and report any issues
- Adhere to Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSA) and company safety policies
- Maintain neat appearance and professionalism when interacting with customers
- Perform other duties as assigned
