Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be licensed for type of vehicle assigned
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to maneuver heavy packages with assistance
- Good verbal communication skills
- Neat appearance
- Meet qualifications outlined in section 391 of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
- Medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Ability to understand and communicate in English as required
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 21 years of age
- Valid driver’s license consistent for the past two years
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to lift 50 pounds consistently
- Good human relations and verbal communication skills
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently for traffic safety and communication
- Successful completion of Federal Drug screen and background check
- Ability to work safely and maintain alertness
- Meets section 391 of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations standards
Job Duties
- Provide courteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of packages
- Check shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service
- Perform related customer service functions
- Operate company vehicles safely following federal and company regulations
- Lift and maneuver packages up to 50 pounds, using equipment or assistance as needed
- Maintain neat appearance and professional demeanor while interacting with customers
- Adhere to safety regulations and complete medical examinations as required
