Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be licensed for type of vehicle assigned
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to maneuver packages over 50 lbs with equipment or assistance
- Good human relations and verbal communication skills
- Neat appearance required
- Must meet qualifications as outlined in section 391 of Federal Motor Carrier safety regulations
- Requires medical exam as per FMCSA or FAA regulations
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs and directives
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license for assigned vehicle type
- Ability to lift and maneuver packages up to 50 pounds
- Good human relations and verbal communication skills
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently
- Meet safety qualifications under section 391 of Federal Motor Carrier regulations
- Medical certification in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations
- At least 21 years of age
Job Duties
- Operate company vehicles to deliver and pick up packages
- Ensure shipments conform to FedEx features of service
- Provide customer service related to deliveries and pick-ups
- Perform package handling including lifting and maneuvering with appropriate equipment
- Comply with Federal Motor Carrier Safety regulations and company policies
- Maintain a neat and professional appearance when interacting with customers
- Complete required medical exams and maintain qualifications for safe operation
