Job Requirements
- high school diploma or GED
- valid license for type of vehicle assigned
- ability to lift 50 lbs.
- ability to maneuver packages over 50 lbs. with appropriate equipment or assistance
- good human relations and verbal communication skills
- neat appearance
- must meet qualifications as outlined in section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
- medical exam required in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations
- must be at least 21 years of age
- ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs and communicate with traffic safety officials
- ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safety

Job Duties
- operate company vehicles to deliver and pick-up packages
- check shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service
- provide courteous and efficient customer service
- perform package handling including lifting and maneuvering up to and exceeding 50 lbs. with appropriate equipment or assistance
- maintain a neat appearance and professional demeanor
- comply with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and company safety standards
- perform other duties as assigned
