Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license for assigned vehicle type
- Must meet FMCSA medical examination standards
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Ability to comply with Federal Motor Carrier safety regulations
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be licensed for type of vehicle assigned
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and maneuver heavier packages with assistance
- Good human relations and verbal communication skills
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs and communicate with officials
- Must meet qualifications under section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier safety regulations
- Ability to work safely in constant state of alertness
- Must be at least 21 years old
Job Duties
- Provides courteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of packages
- Checks shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service
- Provides related customer service functions
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Maneuvers packages over 50 lbs with appropriate equipment or assistance
- Maintains neat appearance and professionalism during customer interactions
- Adheres to safety and regulatory compliance standards
