Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Licensed for the type of vehicle assigned
- At least 21 years of age
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to maneuver packages weighing more than 50 lbs with assistance
- Meet qualifications under section 391 of Federal Motor Carrier safety regulations
- Pass medical examination according to FMCSA or FAA regulations
- Ability to maintain constant alertness and safe driving
- For Hire Endorsement required
- Proficient in English for traffic communication
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license for assigned vehicle type
- For Hire Endorsement (FHE) required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to maneuver packages above 50 lbs with assistance
- Good verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
- Ability to read and speak English effectively
- Neat appearance and customer service orientation
Job Duties
- Operate company vehicles for delivery and pick-up of packages
- Provide courteous and efficient customer service during deliveries
- Check shipments for conformance to FedEx service features
- Follow all safety regulations and maintain a constant state of alertness
- Perform loading and unloading of packages utilizing appropriate equipment
- Maintain neat appearance and professionalism during customer interactions
- Complete related paperwork and reports accurately as assigned
