Job Requirements
- must be at least 21 years of age
- ability to lift 50 lbs
- ability to maneuver packages over 50 lbs with equipment or assistance
- medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations
- meet qualifications outlined in section 391 of federal motor carrier safety regulations
- neat appearance
- good human relations skills
- ability to read and respond to traffic signs and official directions
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or GED
- valid driver’s license for assigned vehicle
- good verbal communication skills
- ability to read and speak English fluently
- knowledge of federal motor carrier safety regulations
- ability to work safely and remain alert
- ability to handle packages up to 50 pounds and maneuver heavier items with assistance
Job Duties
- Drive and operate company vehicles for package delivery and pickup
- check shipments for compliance with FedEx service standards
- provide courteous customer service during deliveries
- adhere to federal motor carrier safety regulations
- perform medical exams as required
- maintain neat appearance and professionalism
- assist with other duties as assigned
