Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license for assigned vehicle type
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to maneuver packages over 50 lbs with assistance
- Good human relations and verbal communication skills
- Neat appearance
- Must meet Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations section 391
- Medical clearance from required exam
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently for traffic and safety communication
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Licensed for the type of vehicle assigned
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs and communicate with traffic safety officials
- Ability to lift and maneuver packages of varying weights
- Strong human relations and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work safely and remain alert
- Must meet Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations section 391
- Medical exam as per FMCSA or FAA regulations
Job Duties
- Provide courteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of packages
- Check shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service
- Provide related customer service functions
- Operate company vehicles safely and in compliance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
- Lift and maneuver packages up to 50 lbs independently and heavier packages with assistance
- Maintain neat appearance and professional demeanor
- Perform other duties as assigned
