Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be licensed for type of vehicle assigned
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to maneuver packages over 50 lbs with equipment or assistance
- Good human relations and verbal communication skills
- Must meet qualifications outlined in section 391 of the FMCSA
- Must pass medical exam according to FMCSA or FAA regulations
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Ability to read and speak English to understand traffic signs and communicate with traffic officials
- Ability to work alertly and safely
- Neat appearance due to customer contact
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid license for the type of vehicle assigned
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and maneuver packages over 50 lbs with assistance
- Good human relations and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safely
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs and communicate with officials
- Must meet qualifications as outlined in section 391 of the FMCSA
Job Duties
- Operate company vehicles to deliver and pick up packages
- Check shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service
- Provide related customer service functions
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Communicate effectively with traffic safety officials and customers
- Maintain a neat appearance appropriate for customer interaction
- Ensure compliance with federal motor carrier safety regulations
