Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license for assigned vehicle type
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to maneuver packages over 50 lbs with assistance
- Must pass medical exam per FMCSA regulations
- Ability to read and understand English
- Must comply with Federal Motor Carrier safety regulations
- Ability to maintain alertness
- Good verbal communication skills
- Must have neat appearance
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be licensed for the type of vehicle assigned
- Ability to lift 50 lbs or more with assistance
- Good human relations and verbal communication skills
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently for traffic and safety communication
- Must meet qualifications outlined in section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness
- Neat appearance and professional demeanor
Job Duties
- Drive and operate company vehicles to deliver and pick up packages
- Check shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service
- Provide courteous and efficient customer service during deliveries and pick-ups
- Perform vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Comply with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and company policies
- Assist with loading and unloading packages using proper equipment
- Perform other duties as assigned
