Job Requirements
- must be licensed for type of vehicle assigned
- ability to work alertly and safely
- pass medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations
- meet federal motor carrier safety regulations
- ability to lift and maneuver packages weighing over 50 lbs with assistance
- availability for part-time shifts Monday through Friday 3:30 PM to 9:30 PM
- age 21 or older
- ability to read and speak English
- neat appearance
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or GED
- valid driver’s license for assigned vehicle type
- ability to lift 50 lbs
- good human relations and verbal communication skills
- neat appearance
- familiarity with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
- ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs and communicate with traffic officials
- minimum age of 21 years
Job Duties
- Operate company vehicles to deliver and pick-up packages
- provide courteous and efficient customer service
- check shipments for conformance to FedEx service standards
- communicate effectively with customers and safety officials
- maintain neat appearance and professional conduct
- follow Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
- perform other duties as assigned
