Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Possess a high school diploma or GED
- Hold a valid driver's license for the type of vehicle assigned
- Pass a medical examination in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations
- Meet qualifications outlined in Section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and handle packages over 50 lbs with equipment or assistance
- Ability to work alertly and safely
- Proficient in reading and speaking English for traffic and safety communication
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license for assigned vehicle type
- Ability to lift and maneuver packages up to 50 lbs with assistance
- Good human relations and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of traffic safety and regulatory compliance
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently for communication
- Ability to maintain neat appearance in customer contact environments
Job Duties
- Operate company vehicles for package delivery and pick-up
- Ensure courteous and efficient service to customers
- Check shipments for conformance with FedEx features of service
- Communicate effectively with customers and other team members
- Adhere to Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and company safety policies
- Perform package handling using appropriate equipment and teamwork
- Complete assigned routes within designated schedules
