Job Requirements
- Must be licensed for the type of vehicle assigned
- able to work in a constant state of alertness
- ability to lift 50 lbs
- ability to maneuver packages heavier than 50 lbs with equipment or assistance
- good verbal communication skills
- neat appearance
- at least 21 years of age
- ability to read and speak English sufficiently to comply with traffic and FMCSA regulations
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs and maneuver heavier items with assistance
- good human relations and verbal communication skills
- ability to read and speak English well enough to understand traffic signs and communicate with officials
- must be at least 21 years old
- valid license for assigned vehicle type
Job Duties
- Operate company vehicles safely and efficiently
- deliver packages timely and courteously
- provide excellent customer service and handle customer inquiries
- load and unload packages using appropriate equipment
- maintain neat appearance and professional conduct
- follow all traffic laws and company safety regulations
- assist in other duties as assigned
