Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- valid driver's license with a clean driving record for the past three years
- ability to load and unload delivery items including lifting and carrying packages
- comfortable driving for extended periods
- ability to adapt to changing weather conditions, traffic patterns, and delivery schedules
- physical endurance to handle job demands including sitting for long periods, standing, and walking during deliveries
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- valid driver's license with a clean driving record for the past three years
- previous experience in a courier or delivery role is preferred
- strong knowledge of local traffic laws and routes
- excellent time management and organizational skills
- strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling sensitive materials
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment under time constraints without close supervision
- good communication skill
- ability to use GPS and hands-free cell phones
- ability to operate a vehicle confidently in all weather and traffic conditions and navigate routine road hazards
- compliance with patient privacy rules
Job Duties
- Drive company vehicles to deliver laboratory samples to designated locations promptly and safely
- adhere to traffic laws, safety guidelines, and delivery schedules
- follow predefined courier routes provided by the Transportation and Logistics Manager
- report any route-related challenges, delays, or deviations to the manager promptly
- handle laboratory samples with care, ensuring the integrity and security of each delivery
- follow specific guidelines for transporting sensitive materials
- maintain clear communication with the Transportation and Logistics Manager and other team members
