Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years prior work experience preferred
  • Current state-issued driver's license with clean driving record
  • Ability to work assigned work hours determined by manager

  • Superb written and verbal communication skills
  • Current knowledge or ability to learn computer-based systems required for functions of position

  • Ability to determine correct method and packing material and validate packing slips for accuracy of incoming and outgoing materials

Job Duties

  • Provides 5-star customer service to all employees in all forms of communication
  • Travels a predefined courier route via automobile to deliver mail and parcels throughout the campus
  • Keeps log and time stamp of items received and delivered
  • Supports chain of custody requirements defined within the operating procedures
  • Performs pick-up and delivery of jobs by accurately following a map and/or written instructions
  • Follows operational service excellence performance requirements
  • Responds to client requests, ensuring the accuracy of the order taken and delivery of the completed orders in a timely manner
  • Completes all paperwork in a timely, accurate and legible manner
  • Maintains compliance with state and company standards by operating a vehicle in a safe and lawful manner
  • Presents professional appearance to clients by dressing in professional attire according to company standards
  • Has responsibility for vehicle safety by maintaining routine maintenance on all delivery vehicles
  • Services vehicle driven, such as checking fluid levels and replenishing fuel
  • Proactively seeks out additional work during downtime
  • Builds professional relationships with customers and other teams
  • Maintains professionalism and composure when interacting with all employees
  • Trains back-up and provides guidance on policies and procedures
  • Determines what additional support is needed when handling sensitive inquiries
  • Provides exceptional customer service to clients
  • Provides front or back of office coverage as needed
