Job Requirements
- 21 years of age
- Valid Class D driver’s license
- Medical card
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Able to secure cargo in compliance with regulations
- Capability to operate sub-CDL vehicles
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Experience or ability to work in adverse weather conditions
- Basic computer literacy
- Ability to handle customer interactions professionally
- Willingness to perform basic emergency roadside repairs
- Ability to prioritize tasks and complete assignments timely
Job Qualifications
- 21 years of age
- Valid Class D driver’s license
- Medical card
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One to two years’ courier driving experience preferred
- Previous material handling, HAZMAT, and forklift experience preferred
- Basic computer knowledge
- Excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to operate in snow and ice road conditions, including chaining up
- Customer-focused with professional and friendly demeanor
- Basic knowledge of commercial e-log systems
- Ability to prioritize tasks and read maps to determine best routes
Job Duties
- Operate safely and in compliance with all established HSSE policies and procedures
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles, reporting discrepancies immediately
- Ensure cargo is secured according to local, state, and federal laws
- Operate sub-CDL equipment such as speeder vans and courier trucks to deliver freight
- Maintain good housekeeping standards focusing on care and custody of materials
- Pickup orders at warehouse and prepare for delivery
- Prioritize and complete day-to-day activities based on customer needs
- Assist on the dock and with two-employee deliveries when required
- Maintain rear facing event recorder
- Update tablet based on pick-up and delivery orders
- Maintain contact with terminal dispatcher and warehouse
- Accurately maintain courier stop-logs and jockey sheet
- Respond appropriately and timely to customer inquiries
- Perform basic emergency roadside repairs when necessary
- Perform all other duties as assigned
