Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license with an excellent driving record for the past three years
- Ability to operate a vehicle safely in various weather and traffic conditions
- Ability to work independently under time constraints in a fast-paced environment
- Physical ability to perform lifting up to 50lbs
- Willingness to comply with safety, compliance, and quality control standards
- Availability to work first shift full-time
- Incidental exposure to Protected Health Information (PHI) requiring adherence to privacy and security protocols
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license and excellent driving record for the past three years
- Confidence operating vehicles in all weather and traffic conditions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under time constraints without close supervision
- Physical capability for light to medium lifting up to 50lbs
- Knowledge of medical terminology (preferred)
- 2+ years of experience operating conventional vehicles for business purposes preferred
Job Duties
- Perform a vital part of the patient care process by ensuring that reports, records, supplies, and medical specimens are transported between the laboratory and healthcare provider locations
- Ensure proper specimen handling, transport, and safe operation of a motor vehicle in all weather conditions
- Interact with a variety of clients and commit to customer-focused service
- Champion safety, compliance, and quality control
- Operate vehicles confidently under routine hazards of the road
- Maintain detailed records of transported materials
- Follow established protocols for handling medical specimens and documentation
