Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- valid driver's license and excellent driving record for the past three years
- confidence operating a vehicle in all weather and traffic conditions and navigating routine hazards of the road
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under time constraints, without close supervision
- physical capability of light to medium lifting up to 50lbs
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- valid driver's license with excellent driving record for past three years
- ability to operate a vehicle confidently in all weather and traffic conditions
- knowledge of medical terminology is a plus
- experience operating conventional vehicles for business purposes is advantageous
- ability to work independently under time constraints
- physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs
- strong attention to detail and customer service skills
Job Duties
- Perform a vital part of the patient care process by ensuring reports, records, supplies, and medical specimens are transported between laboratory and healthcare provider locations
- ensure proper specimen handling, transport, and safe operation of a motor vehicle in all weather conditions
- interact with a variety of clients and commit to customer-focused service
- champion safety, compliance, and quality control
- manage transportation routes efficiently within scheduled hours
- maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups
- adhere to company policies and procedures
