Job Description
The role of a front of house team member at Tatte includes integral responsibilities either as a counter team member or a barista. Counter team members are expected to have comprehensive knowledge of all Tatte products, delivering savory dishes and pastries that meet high culinary standards. They operate the point-of-sale register efficiently while maintaining a clean, organized, and well-stocked workspace. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays, and evenings
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 50 plus pounds
- Experience as a barista preferred for barista roles
- Willingness to learn and adapt to a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to teamwork and customer service
- Legal authorization to work (E-Verify employer)
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in a fast-paced cafe or restaurant environment recommended
- For baristas, at least one year of experience using manual espresso equipment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Passionate about coffee, food, and hospitality
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends, holidays, and evenings
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift 50 or more pounds
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems

Job Duties
- Provide gracious and high-quality service to guests by welcoming them warmly and engaging throughout their visit
- Determine guests' needs by asking questions and sharing in-depth product knowledge
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all Tatte products including savory dishes, pastries, and coffee
- Take guests' orders accurately using the point-of-sale system
- Execute all product and packaging standards to ensure quality and consistency
- Prepare and serve or deliver coffee beverages and food items according to Tatte recipes and presentation standards
- Keep cafe stations clean, organized, and well-stocked while supporting brand and visual standards
- Operate barista equipment and maintain sanitary conditions for all equipment
- Comply with all safety and sanitation standards at all times
- Collaborate with team members to offer assistance wherever needed
- Perform other related duties as assigned
