Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in related field
  • Fluency in Spanish preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, holidays and weekends
  • Ability to travel locally and occasionally overnight
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Residency in Colorado if hybrid remote work is utilized
  • Access to stable, secure internet for remote work
  • Commitment to community service and mission alignment

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, nonprofit management, or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years relevant professional experience
  • Experience in corporate or community engagement, volunteer coordination, or campaign implementation
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, CRM systems (Raiser’s Edge NXT preferred), and online campaign tools (e.g., Classy)
  • Fluency in Spanish preferred with effective reading, writing, speaking, and translating skills
  • Experience in research and grant writing preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proactive outreach and relationship-building mindset
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Hospitality-oriented with the ability to professionally host groups
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams
  • Cultural competency and commitment to hunger relief

Job Duties

  • Serve as the primary contact for corporate, business, and community engagement requests
  • Maintain ongoing communication to foster repeat and deepened partnerships
  • Support execution of corporate and philanthropy engagement strategies
  • Identify and cultivate new partnership opportunities with local businesses, organizations, and schools
  • Conduct outreach to introduce Community Food Share’s mission and partnership opportunities
  • Solicit in-kind donations and auction items for fundraising and engagement
  • Lead hosting and coordination for volunteer groups providing tours, presentations, and onsite support
  • Coordinate logistics and support for food and fund drives
  • Collaborate with internal teams to track donations and recognize participating groups
  • Develop tools and templates to streamline partner participation
  • Collaborate with philanthropy staff for event, campaign, and communication alignment
  • Represent Community Food Share at outreach events and community fairs
  • Maintain accurate CRM records of engagement activities
