Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum one year experience cooking in high volume establishments
- Valid state driver’s license
- Knowledge of safe food handling and culinary techniques
- Ability to use kitchen equipment and tools
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to follow schedules and safety protocols
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least one year of experience in a high volume cooking environment with emphasis on cooking from scratch
- Complete knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques, and standards
- Ability to use a variety of kitchen equipment and tools
- High-level product knowledge
- Valid state driver’s license for the vehicle used for transport
- Strong attention to detail and customer service skills
- Food handler’s certification (preferred)
Job Duties
- Performing food preparation and production tasks while following recipes and safe food handling policies and procedures
- Ensuring proper portion and temperature control and proper storage of leftover food
- Loading and transporting food products from one location to another according to an assigned schedule
- Supervising kitchen operations to maintain high standards of food quality and safety
- Operating kitchen equipment and tools responsibly and safely
- Providing friendly and helpful customer service to meet dietary needs
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
