Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least one year of relevant culinary experience
  • Prior supervisory experience
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective communication skills
  • Food handlers certification preferred

Job Qualifications

  • At least one year's prior culinary experience in a high volume establishment with scratch cooking emphasis
  • Complete knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques, and standards
  • Experience supervising a team
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Friendly and helpful customer service skills

Job Duties

  • Instructing and training employees in all aspects of food service and sanitation
  • Ensuring meal services begin on time
  • Supervising the preparation and quality of food items with emphasis on portion, appearance, and temperature
  • Coordinating food service operations to maintain efficiency and adherence to standards
  • Monitoring compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Assisting in inventory management and ordering supplies
  • Leading and motivating the culinary team to achieve operational goals
