Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • at least one years' prior culinary experience
  • knowledge of culinary methods and sanitation standards
  • ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • experience supervising and training staff
  • reliable transportation to onsite location
  • ability to work full-time onsite in South Bend, Indiana

Job Qualifications

  • At least one years' prior culinary experience in a quality and high volume establishment with an emphasis on scratch cooking
  • complete knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques and standards
  • excellent attention to detail
  • ability to perform multiple tasks at once
  • high-level product knowledge
  • experience supervising a team
  • food handlers certification preferred

Job Duties

  • Instructing and training employees in all aspects of food service and sanitation
  • ensuring meal services begin on time
  • ensuring portion, appearance and temperature for all food items is appropriate and of high quality
  • supervising a team to maintain efficiency and adherence to established standards
  • overseeing kitchen operations in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • maintaining compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
  • coordinating workflow and managing employee schedules
